SWEET AND PLUMP HOKKAIDO CORN ARE NOW IN SEASON!

By September 6, 2016 General

While driving through Hokkaido, you may be enticed by the scent of farm-picked corn being boiled by the dozen in roadside produce stands. Enjoy this flavorful corn with rich Hokkaido butter and a drizzle of soy sauce!

Here is another variety. As the name suggests, Pure White is a type of corn with white kernels and high sugar content likened to very sweet pear.

The kernels are encased in delicate skin which make fresh-picked corn delicious even when eaten raw. Of course they can be boiled or cooked in the microwave, or enjoyed as a super deluxe corn soup! Pure White corn are available until mid-September, so do give them a try!
